Mr. Townsley, 58 years of age, entered the oil and gas industry in 1981 with an MBA from the Ohio State University with dual majors in International Business and Logistics. He advanced through the Land Management department with Sun Exploration and Production Co. (Sunoco) until 1988. At that time he helped to create TDR Consulting, an oil and gas consulting firm. After a successful 2-year stint as an oil and gas consultant, Mr. Townsley joined Ampak Oil Company, Texlark’s affiliated operating company, at the beginning of 1990 as Director of Land Management. He was promoted to Vice-President of Business Operations in 1995 and has retained that position since that time. Mr. Townsley was appointed President of Texlark Exploration in 2006 and has served in the dual capacity as Texlark’s President and Ampak’s Vice-President over the past 7 years.

Mr. M. G. Khan, 61 years of age, has been a Director of Texlark Exploration Co., Inc. since its acquisition in 1999. Mr. Khan earned his Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and has supervised various phases of operations in over 700 wells since entering the oil business in 1980. Mr. Khan also founded, and has been a principal, officer and director of, Ampak Oil Company since its inception in 1988. Mr. Khan has been an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers of AIME since 1978.
Ampak Oil Company is currently operating oil and gas properties throughout the state of Texas with a focus in south Texas, including the Texas Gulf Coast, the Wolfcamp/Cline Shale play in the Permian Basin of west Texas, the Bend Arch in west-central Texas and the Hardeman Basin in north Texas.
While Texlark was an oil and gas operator between 1980 and 2003, currently it acts as an issuer for its affiliated operator Ampak Oil Company (#020463). Ampak has been a Texas Railroad Commission operator (#020463) since 1988.
